Artist & Curator
An
accomplished curator and artist. Dorothy's' work includes oil and
watercolor painting, ink and pencil sketches and photography.
During the 1970s, Dorothy supervised renovation of the sanctuary of the
19th century Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist and restoration of
murals and walls of the 17th century Church of St Polycarp in Izmir,
Turkey. She is a recipient of awards for artwork as well as for
activities in the field of international relations, including the NATO
Award for Women for her work in Turkey. Dorothy has exhibited and
sold her work in the United States, Asia, Europe and the Near East.
She studied oil painting in Japan and holds a B.A. degree in Art from
the University of Massachusetts Boston.
